| Juan Carlos Little missed a late second half opportunity on a PK to tie the game 1-1 in the 1st round of the GISA State playoff game against Holy Spirit Prep. Little's kick was defelected by the HSP keeper and then he just missed putting the rebound back in .The Rams who were beat handedly by HSP 7-0 earlier in the season battled it out to a 0-0 tie at the half. CHCS keeper Steven Bankhead and Sweeper Mark Ferrell led the Rams defense with outstanding defensive play. Late in the second half Rams goalie Bankhead came out to challenge a break away successfully tackling the oncoming challenger but was unable to get to the ball and then off the ground in time to defend the onslaught of HSP rebounders. The Rams dropped the contest 0-2. |
